Happy Margarita Day!

Happy Margarita Day, sassy senoritas!!  I’m not a huge drinker (I did my fair share of that on the road, lol) but I cannot say no to a good Margarita, and this bad-boy I am in LOVE with!  It’s sooooo delicious, even the hubs loves it!  

I’ve added some grapefruit for an adrenal friendly twist that will keep you energized and help with hydration!  However, definitely remember to alternate cocktails with water.  Repeat after me “cocktail, water, cocktail, water”.  Trust me on this one 😉

STEP 1:
Slice and juice the grapefruit. Stir the honey into the grapefruit juice until combined. Then, chop the jalapeño into small pieces.
STEP 2:
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Pour the grapefruit juice, jalapeño, tequila and triple sec into the shaker. Shake for at least 10-15 seconds.
STEP 3:
Rim two glasses with Himalayan sea salt.  Put a couple additional cubes of ice in each glass and fill the glasses!  Top with a jalapeño slice if you want, and enjoy! 
TIP:
Pre-made margarita mixes are typically filled with sugar and preservatives, so no matter what, always opt to make your own!
